If the Apple II had video capability, what might that have looked like? The lo-res mode (with text) of the Apple II had a resolution of 40×40 with a 16 color palette. I created a custom palette in Photoshop using colors from this Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_8-bit_computer_hardware_palettes#Apple_II_series
I converted a 720p video to 40×40, applied the custom palette and then converted it back to 720p with nearest neighbor resampling. The resulting video retains the 16:9 aspect ratio of the original video.
