To make this video, I took the public domain film “Duck and Cover” (available at https://archive.org/details/DuckandC1951 and converted it into 16513 jpeg images. I then created a photo mosaic for each frame using the 16513 images as the source pool. I ended up with 16513 mosaics. I then stitched them back into a video and added the audio back in. To make this, I used Mpegstreamclip, metapixel and ffmpeg.
