My 5 yr old and I participated in the “Black Fly-Day” event at the Oskaloosa Municipal Airport in Iowa. Pilot Jeff took us on a 20 minute flight around Oskaloosa. My 5 yr old got to “take the controls” a few times. I captured the flight using a GoPro Hero 5 Black camera and overlaid the telemetry data on the video.

I tried to do a 360 time-lapse of the sky on August 21st, 2017 during the eclipse but the weather wasn’t cooperating. We were in the 95% totality zone (central Iowa, US). It didn’t get especially dark.
